How to do Ardha Padma Vrksasana -

Preparatory Pose -

You can practice Vrksasana and Padmasana before starting this pose, this will warm up your body.

Steps – 

1) First of all you have to stand on the mat, there should be an equal distance between your feet.

2) Now you have to bend your left leg from the knee and put it on your right thigh as seen in the picture.

3) Now you have to raise your hands to the chest and make Namaskar Position.

4) Your head should be straight and your face should be in front.

5) Your body should be absolutely straight during the posture.

6) You have to continuously inhale and exhale the breath.

7) After staying in this pose for some time, you have to leave this pose.

8) Now you have to practice the same pose with your right leg.

9) You must do at least 3 to 4 sets of this posture.
